The mission of Zilker Elementary is to promote a collaborative, safe, nurturing environment in which our diverse student population achieves due to high expectations and a challenging, aligned curriculum.

To increase overall achievement levels in language arts and math as measured by TAKS. To increase parental involvement.

Major Programs and Initiatives

At Zilker Elementary we strive to group homeroom classes heterogeneously with clustering and create individual educational plans for special populations including gifted students and limited English-proficiency students.
