AISD Student Artist to Sign Art Month Billboard on February 11
February 10, 2011 - McCallum High School student artist Nicholas Olivares, designer of the 2011 Youth Art Month billboard, will sign one of the billboards at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 11.
The billboard is located at 5202 Burnet Road.
Nicholas and his art teacher, Carol Beth Torrance, will be raised up to the billboard in an Austin Fire Department bucket.
This billboard is one of several located throughout Austin. Sponsored by the A+ Federal Credit Union and Reagan National Advertising, they promote the annual AISD Student Art Show, to be held this year from March 4-28 at One Congress Plaza.
