YOUR SCHOOL MOTTO

Sample Page Title

This template is provided to you by the AISD Web Team. This template uses a combination of CSS (for presentation) and HTML (for layout).*

The CSS (Content Style Sheet) information contains all the color, font, size, and spacing information. The CSS information is contained in the file named "style.css" in the "css" directory. If you wish to change any colors, heights, widths, or any other page characteristics, simply edit the CSS information.

The HTML used in this template is primarily used for structure. A basic table sets up the header, columns, and footer. However, the width and height and other attributes of the table are controlled by the CSS so you should edit the CSS to change any of the layout characteristics.

Changing the Colors

You can use your latest and greatest favorite HTML editor (Notepad, DreamWeaver, GoLive) to edit the CSS information that stores the color information. For information on how to use your favorite HTML editor, please see your HTML editor software's help documentation.

To change the colors, edit the "border-color", "background-color", and "color" (text color) elements inside the CSS object that you wish to edit.

Changing the Fonts

To change any font characteristics of this page, edit the "font-family", "font-weight", "font-style", or any other font elements that you find in the CSS.

Changing the Logo

1) Make sure that your logo is either in .gif, .jpg, or .png format.

2) When you find an image to place as your school's logo, first, make sure that it is no higher than 65px. You can edit your image in any image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.

3) Save your file in the" images" directory. Delete the AISD Appitol logo at the top and replace it with the one you just saved in the "images" directory.

This template is designed for version 5.0 and later browsers. If you have users who use older browsers (MS Internet Explorer 4.x or Netscape 4.x) they may not see your page correctly. This template is not entirely designed with CSS so that some older browsers as well as standards compliant browsers can view your page.
