Welcome to the AISD web site

Updating Your School or Department Web Site

To ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate, we are requesting that all schools and departments review and updated their current information posted on this web site and campus web sites.

Most schools and departments already have someone who serves as a single point of contact, or content liaison. For AISD departments, the content liaison is responsible for providing updated information to us for the main AISD web site, and is also responsible for updating your department's information on the AISD intranet (aisdweb). For school campuses, the content liaison is responsible for maintaining your school's web site.

AISD Schools

We host all AISD schools on AustinSchools.org (http://www.austinschools.org). School content liaisons, or webmasters, are given secure access to allow them to maintain their own web site. If your school has a new webmaster this year, please make sure to fill out the online Campus Webhosting Agreement form. All school webmasters must be AISD staff members and have a basic understanding of how to create and maintain a web site.

AISD Departments

We maintain the sites for all departments that have content liaisons on the main AISD web site. If your department has a content liaison, you must send all changes to them, and they will submit a request to us via email or phone. Only those designated individuals can submit a request. This is necessary to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all posted material. It also provides a single point of contact for each department.

If you are not sure who your department or school content liaison is, please check with your supervisor or administrator or call us at 414-4595.

We strongly urge you to review your information on the main AISD web site, AISD intranet, or your school web site to make sure it is current and accurate. It is our goal to provide our customers with information that is timely and correct.
