Payment Dates

  • Stipends are paid in separate checks during the months of July, September, November, and January to eligible participants from our pilot schools (payouts are subject to change based on availability of data).
  • AISD REACH stipends are paid on the same day as regular payroll usually the last day of the month) and are paid in the same manner that employees receive their AISD paycheck. Those who have direct deposit will be mailed a statement with a list of the stipends they will receive, and those who don't have direct deposit will have a separate check mailed to their homes that also includes a list of their stipends.

Who is eligible for stipends?

(All positions must be .5 FTE or greater at the campus)
  • Teachers (Core, Special Areas/Electives, Special Education)
  • Instructional Coaches/Specialists
  • Librarians
  • Assistant Principals
  • Principals
  • Counselors and Project Advance Counselors

Additional Requirements for Program Elements

STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES (SLOS):
  • Eligible teachers must be present to create and submit SLOs by the established deadlines to their principals for approval as well as be present to evaluate the assessments that will be used to measure student growth.
  • Completion of SLOs is required to be eligible for all other stipends.
SCHOOL-WIDE BASKET OF MEASURES:
  • Teachers must be present and teach 50 percent of the year in which the school achieved its basket of measures.
NEW TO SCHOOL STIPEND (YEARS 1-3 OF SERVICE AT THE SCHOOL):
  • Eligible teachers must have received a one-year or three-year contract to be eligible for this stipend.
  • To be eligible for the first half of the stipend, teachers must be under contract and assigned or performing at the pilot campus by September 30th.
  • To be eligible for the second half of stipend, teachers must complete the school year on the same pilot campus.
RETENTION STIPENDS (YEARS 4 + at a single campus in a REACH eligible position):
  • To be eligible for the first half of the stipend, teachers must be under contract and a performing at the pilot campus by September 30th.
  • To be eligible for the second half of stipend, teachers must complete the school year on the same pilot campus.
