Current Schedule Budget General Environmental
Build a new southeast 32-classrooms, one-story elementary school, approximately 82,000 square feet on 15 acres. Includes extension of South Pleasant Valley Road 420 feet for site access. Complete. School opened August 2006. Over budget. Use of program level contingency funds approved by Board.* Energy, water and sustainability consultant was retained. Implementation will include site design, native landscaping, daylighting, energy efficient equipment, resource efficiency, commissioning, water quality/water saving measures and treatment of glazing with tints. Austin Energy two-star Green Building Rating standard will be met.
Install automatic power factor correction and harmonic distortion mitigation system. Construction phase. Under budget.* Grouped with nine other facilities.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
