2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Repair/repave southwest parking area
• Repave service drive with concrete and construct dumpster pad
• Repair/replace canopy light fixtures and install additional security lighting
• Repair/replace sections of built-up roofing at library
• Replace deteriorated ventilation system controls and equipment
• Repair/replace/modify selected ventilation system equipment
• Install emergency egress lighting
• Replace motor controls, electrical panelboards and switchgear
• Replace stairway light fixtures
• Replace water heater at health services office and mechanical room
• Replace grease trap serving kitchen
• Replace domestic water lines and sanitary sewer lines serving kitchen
• Install playslab cover
• Install safety and security enhancements

2008 Bond Program Scope of Work

Current Schedule Budget General Environmental
Install traffic gates. Complete. Under budget.* Part of districtwide safety and security group of projects.
Replace deteriorated air conditioning rooftop units, replace ventilation controls, replace deteriorated motor controls, electric panel boards and switchgear, repair portion of roof, install emergency egress lighting, replace water heaters, replace grease trap, replace water and sanitary sewer lines under kitchen, repave concrete service drive and add dumpster pad, repair asphalt parking area, install play slab cover, and closed circuit TV and card reader door access. Complete. Within budget.* Paired with Pecan Spring Elementary School project. Existing on-site detention will be utilized to allow engineered release of storm water into larger area drainage system. This project will involve enhancing the existing water retention and detention capacity. Window tinting will be used to lower cooling requirements. Heating and air conditioning units will be high efficiency units and will be commissioned to ensure proper operation and efficiency. Also water saving plumbing fixtures will lower water usage.
Provide additional electrical power for computer network upgrades. Complete. Over budget.*
Air conditioning improvements in technology room. Complete. Within budget.* All new mechanical systems will meet and exceed the latest energy standards.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
