2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Install additional exterior security lighting
• Connect roof downspouts to storm sewer system
• Repair/replace worn/damaged floor tile
• Repair/replace deteriorated door hardware
• Repair/replace approximately 20,000 square feet of built-up roofing
• Renovate/refurbish student and faculty restrooms
• Demolish deteriorated walls/casework, replace ceiling tile/grid as needed, add electrical circuits and replace worn floor coverings
• Replace selected library casework/cabinetry/furnishings
• Install playslab cover
• Install safety and security enhancements

2008 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Technology upgrades
• Replace heating, ventilation and air conditioning system equipment in cafeteria and gymnasium and install new digital controls
• Cafeteria and kitchen improvements
• Install automatic power factor correction and harmonic distortion mitigation system

• Replace roofing over P.E. offices and main corridor

Kitchen hood fire suppression replacement. Complete. Under budget.*
Install exterior security lighting, connect roof downspouts to underground storm sewer, renovate and refurbish restrooms, playslab cover, replace, floor tiles, hardware, walls, ceiling, floor covering, library furniture, add electrical circuits, safety and security enhancements. Complete. Over budget.* Grouped with two other schools. Project will be reviewed by energy/sustainability consultants.
Roof repair and replacement. Complete. Within budget.* An energy efficient “reflective” cap sheet will be installed, if the budget allows.
Cafeteria/kitchen renovations. Complete. Under budget.* Grouped with eight other schools. Additional work to install floor sinks at various kitchen equipment was required.
Replace heating, ventilation and air conditioning system equipment at cafeteria, gym, library and selected classrooms. Complete. Under budget. * Heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment will be high efficiency and meet or exceed latest energy standards (ASHRAE 90.1, 2001).
Install storm drainage lines with inlets, install concrete service drive, move and reinstall part of track and install berm to divert on-site water flows. Substantially complete. Under budget.* Grouped with projects at three other schools.
Install automatic power factor correction and harmonic distortion mitigation system. Construction phase. Under budget.* Grouped with 10 other facilities.
Replace roofing over P.E. offices and main corridor. Design phase.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
