The AISD PBS department is comprised of a PBS administrative supervisor, 15 PBS specialists, and a technical assistance facilitator.

PBS Administrative Supervisor: The administrative supervisor is responsible for interfacing with campus and district administration, supervising district PBS staff, and overseeing PBS implementation efforts in the district.

PBS Specialists: The PBS specialists, also known as external coaches work with campus PBS teams to guide, facilitate, and train administrators, staff, students, and parents on strategies to improve school climate and achievement. Each external coach specializes in school-wide PBS processes, PBS classroom practices, or "top-of-the triangle" students who need intensive support. One coach serves as the primary coordinator for the campus administration and the PBS team, coordinating efforts and services based on data indicating school needs.

PBS Technical Assistance: The technical assistance facilitator is responsible for coordinating efforts to address PBS sustainability and strategic planning. She works closely with department of program evaluation to monitor PBS outcomes and provides formative data to the district team to inform about current challenges and successes.
