PTA Information

ACPTA, the Austin Council of PTAs (Parent Teacher Associations), is made up of representatives from local campus PTAs in AISD. ACPTA provides training for local PTA board members in August and May as well as assistance on PTA matters throughout the year. A newsletter goes out five times a year. ACPTA serves as a link between AISD and parents, informing the District of parent concerns and recommending\ parent members for various AISD committees.

Your PTA

PTA is a grassroots organization made up of parents, teachers and others who have a special interest in children, families and schools. PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining a PTA, a member automatically becomes part of the largest child-advocacy organization in the state - over 630,000 strong across Texas. For more information about AISD PTAs, please visit the main AISD PTA website.

To get more involved in your child's school, please contact that school's PTA. Find the contact info below.
