The One-Way Dual Language Program will be phased in each year until 2015-2016 when it will be offered at all AISD elementary schools with bilingual services. The phase-in plan is:

The Dual Language Advisory Committee will explore the possibility of expansion of the Dual Language program into secondary grade levels, and make recommendations, when appropriate. The committee will also explore the possibility of adding Two-Way Dual Language schools that offer other languages such as Vietnamese, Chinese, French, and Arabic to the existing portfolio of Dual Language options. Logistical and budgetary analysis will be conducted to determine feasibility of the expansion of the Two-Way Dual Language Program.
